What we'll do
Let the games begin, this Brid CYP Summer Mini Olympics session will be filled with fun, teamwork and friendly competition! Young people will take part in a variety of exciting Olympic-inspired challenges and activities designed to encourage communication, confidence and working together in a safe and supportive environment. From relay races and team challenges to problem-solving games and energetic activities, young people will work together to earn points, support one another and celebrate their achievements as a team. Our friendly and trained staff will be on hand throughout the session to encourage everyone, ensure activities are inclusive and help to create a positive atmosphere. The session is not only a fantastic way to stay active and build friendships, but also an opportunity to develop leadership skills, resilience and self-confidence while having lots of fun. To round off the session, as well as chilling in our dedicated 'Youth Hub' space, all young people will be able to choose and enjoy a healthy hot or cold meal (see the menu for meal options, gluten free available), ensuring everyone leaves feeling satisfied and energised. More than just a sports session, the CYP Summer Mini Olympics is a fun and inspiring experience where young people can challenge themselves, connect with others and enjoy themselves. Although we are not SEND specific provider, our youth hub team regularly work with and provide support to children with SEND related needs. Although we are not in a position to be able to provide 1 to 1 support, we have and are more than happy to chat with parents and carers in advance of sessions to plan for any support that may be needed. Parents or a 1 to 1 worker for a young person are also able to attend our sessions. There are 10 paid for places available for this session at a cost of £5.00 per place. Paid for places can be booked through the Bridlington CYP website and are available on a first come first served basis. https://www.bridlingtoncyp.org/
