Summer LingoClub At Errington Primary

We will be playing lots of games like corners, Simon says, hot/cold and pass the parcel; having fun with the parachute; singing a few songs; snack time and stories; colouring and making crafts such as collages, marbled pictures, decorations and games, whilst learning some new words in French!
Our club theme is the summer as we talk about summertime, the seaside, pirates, superheroes and sports!

LingoClub is designed and run by teachers and experienced staff to ensure that your children are cared for and have lots of fun each day!
We provide a choice of hot meal or packed lunch with drinks included.

We like to change our games and crafts everyday, as well as adapting to the weather and favourite games and activities, but a typical day with us looks like this:

9:30 Registration + indoor play or activity sheet

9.45 French lesson for the daily theme including songs, action games like Simon Says or Pass the Parcel, guessing games like 'hot/cold' for repetition and team building.

10.30 Break then active team games, relays, parachute.

11.15 French storytelling plus snack.

11:30 Craft e.g. making a mask, a 3d animal, origami, marbling, collage, games.

12:15 Treasure hunt, soft snowballs, coordination games or outdoor play followed by lunch.

13:00 French language worksheet, puzzles, wordsearches or finishing craft and children's feedback.

13:30 Finish.
