What we'll do
During each week there will be different themes of activities that will be available for the children in the week theme there will be a cooking activity, craft activity and science activity and lots of board games, construction toys, role play which changes for spa, restaurant and airport. we also have an outside area which we will be using everyday throughout the half term. The themed weeks we have this year is learning week (spend or save), wild west week, travel week, wizard camp, outdoor fun, rainforest rangers and when we grow up

What you'll need
Please ensure that your child attends wearing suitable clothing for the weather conditions and activities, please also bring coats, sun cream, sun hats.
Activities
Spend or save? The school holidays are here in the first week we will be looking at money in different ways, we have activities like shop role play, coin rubbing, making our own money box and designing our own bank notes, the children will also be able to take part in a budget challenge we will pop to the shops with a budget to buy some ingredients to make a sweet treat which we will decide on the day, we must then keep to our budget and buy the ingredients to take back to funstop to make and enjoy. Wild west week: This week the children will have lots of different wild west activities, this will include a gold rush treasure hunt, cowboy cookies, panning for gold. And lots of craft activities like, making a wanted poster and a sheriff badge. We will also be making our own clay cactus. Travel week: During this week the children will get the chance to look at different ways of travel to different places. We will be making some aeroplanes using different materials, we will also be making a paper Mache world. The children will also have a chance to make their own paper plate boat and fruit and vegetable boat to snack on. The children will also look at designing their own train and making it out of clay. Plus, little games like name the flag, and travel bingo Wizards camp: During this week the children will have lots of wizard themed activities, this will include craft like bubble paint cauldrons, clay dragon eggs, magic wizard wands, the children will also be able to take part in a wizard’s bingo and making some wizard hat chocolate cones Outdoor fun week: During the week the children will have lots of fun outdoor activities like, a sports day, wet and wild summer games party and a circus skills party. The children will also get a chance to make their own ice pops. And do some chalk painting, and a trip to the park, on one of the days in the week. Rainforest rangers: This week the children will have lots of rainforest activities this will include craft activities like, paper chain snakes, ranger hats and binoculars and making some clay animals, the children can also take part in the rainforest bingo, we will also be doing a static electricity butterfly experiment and making some fruit salad snakes When we grow up: Over the last 2 days of half term, we will be looking at what we want to be when we get older, we will be making self-portraits and taking a trip to the fire and police stations.
