We will be offering a family swim voucher for HAF-eligible children and families across all our sites in Barnsley. This booking will allow a member of our team to reach out to you via email and organise when you would like to visit your designated site for a fun swim. You can use this anytime over the summer holidays. The sites included are:
Barnsley Metrodome
Your Space Hoyland
Your Space Royston
Your Space Dearneside
A family ticket will include either 2 adults (18+) and 2 child entry, or 1 Adult and 3 child entry. Please follow our admissions policy, available in the additional information section below.

Here is a list of all available times you can use the family swim voucher in the summer holidays:
Barnsley Metrodome
Monday to Friday: 12:00pm - 3:30pm (Tickets available every 15 minutes)
Your Space Hoyland
Tuesday & Thursday: 1:00pm – 2:30pm
Saturday: 2:00pm – 3:00pm
Your Space Royston
Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 1.00pm - 2.30pm
Your Space Dearneside
Monday, Wednesday & Thursday: 1:00pm - 2:00pm
Tuesday: 5:30pm - 6:30pm
Friday: 5:00pm - 6:00pm
Saturday: 12:45pm - 1:45pm
Admissions Policy
We would like to share our admissions policy for family swims here at Barnsley Premier Leisure. Please take a look before booking your voucher to make sure you can follow our policy to ensure no disappointment on the day. Please note, the Barnsley Metrodome have a different policy to our other sites so will outline both below.
Barnsley Metrodome
Children under 11 must be accompanied in the water by an adult (16+), max 2 under-11s per adult:
- Under 4: 1 adult + 1 child (no aids), or 1 adult + 2 children (both with buoyancy aids)
- 4-10 years: 1 adult + 2 children (aids optional)
- Mixed ages: 1 adult + 2 children if both wear buoyancy aids, or eldest can swim 50m (parent-confirmed)
- 11 and over: Swim without adult supervision
Your Space Hoyland, Royston and Dearneside
Children under 8 must be accompanied in the water by an adult (16+), max 2 under-8s per adult:
- Under 4: 1 adult + 1 child (no aids), or 1 adult + 2 children (both with buoyancy aids)
- 4-7 years: 1 adult + 2 children (aids optional)
- Mixed ages: 1 adult + 2 children if both wear buoyancy aids, or eldest can swim 50m (parent-confirmed)
- 8 and over: Swim without adult supervision
By completing this booking, you acknowledge and agree to our Admissions Policy and understand that failure to comply with these requirements may result in refusal of entry or removal from the gym premises.
