Summer Holiday Club block mentored by Raising Youth CIO

A summary

Our Summer Holiday Club is for children of Primary School Age (5-11). Each day children will access a variety of fun activities to develop new and existing skills; these include: - Arts and Crafts - Various Sports - Teamwork Activities - Sand and Water Play - First Aid An so much more! Sessions run Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm at Maritime Academy, Strood. Funded places available for children receiving benefits related free school meals. Paid places can be booked on our website: www.raisingyouth.org.uk/services-1/HAF.

Raising the bar for children and young people

Our mission is to support and ‘raise the bar’ for the younger members of our community in Medway, to improve outcomes, irrespective of their background or starting point. Our staff are experienced, trained and committed to providing the most appropriate support at the right time. Our staff, partners and families, that we support, are part of that community; working together positively and cooperatively.

Special Educational Needs and Disabilities

Raising Youth CIO is an inclusive organisation and welcomes all children and young people. In addition to the universal inclusive practices at our settings, we have 5 dedicated spaces for children who need additional support, such as 1:1 support, at our sessions. If you indicate that your child has additional needs, one of our colleagues will call you to gather more information and identify what support your child may need.
