Do you have children aged 8-13 that love being outdoors, active and sometimes adventurous? If so then you should definitely be considering booking them in at Stanley Head this summer for anything from a day to a full four weeks!
Activities on offer over the summer include canoeing, climbing, axe throwing, caving, paddle boarding, archery, abseiling, orienteering, raft building, bushcraft, rifle shooting, crate stacking and more!

Stanley Head is a well-established outdoor education centre hosting over 5,000 children every year for a wide range of adventurous activities and unforgettable experiences. The centre itself is set across almost 30 acres, consisting of converted farm buildings, extensive camping fields and some of the most rich and diverse woodland in the Staffordshire Moorlands ,filled with wildlife. On the edge of the centre is Stanley Reservoir, an excellent natural resource that the centre has unlimited access to and uses for a variety of activities and challenges. Stanley Head is less only two miles from Stoke-on-Trent and only 5 miles from Leek. We deliver a real mixture of activities, courses and programmes ranging from outdoor activity days to delivering the School Curriculum. We look forward to welcoming you to our centre and hope you’ll agree with us in thinking that Stanley Head really is a friendly, fun and exciting place to visit.
