When you arrive
When you arrive, you will see one of our Outdoor Learning Centres, where a member of our friendly team will be ready to welcome you. After checking in, you will be placed into a group with other children of a similar age, helping everyone feel comfortable and making it easier to build friendships. Your group leader will introduce the day’s activities, go through any important safety information, and make sure everyone is ready for a fun and exciting day of adventure. From there, you’ll head out with your group to begin exploring the wide range of outdoor activities we have planned
Learning aims
Aim 1
Create Fun and Memorable Experiences Most importantly, we aim to provide a safe and exciting environment where children can try new things, make lasting memories, and enjoy every adventure.
Aim 3
Build Confidence and Resilience Through new challenges such as kayaking, climbing, and team games, children learn to step outside their comfort zones, build confidence, and develop resilience.
Aim 5
Promote Teamwork and Communication Many of our activities involve working together, helping children build friendships, improve communication skills, and learn the importance of teamwork.
Aim 2
Encourage Active Lifestyles We aim to inspire children to enjoy being active outdoors, helping them develop healthy habits and a love for physical activity away from screens.
Aim 4
Develop Outdoor and Practical Skills Activities like bushcraft, archery, and water sports allow children to learn valuable practical skills while safely exploring the natural environment.
