The Home Nursery
A summary
All children naturally learn through playing and so we emphasise the importance of feeling happy and having fun. By focusing on each child’s sense of well-being we ensure your child feels secure within their surroundings and with familiar adults, to give them the confidence to explore their environment. Through feeling secure and being inquisitive your child will grow and develop invaluable skills, such as the ability to socialise and make friends, gain independence and self-care skills, resilience, communication and problem-solving abilities. Developing these skills and many more provides the foundations for your child’s future learning and promotes positive outcomes as they begin their life-long learning journey. It is a privilege to share this journey with you and your child.
Our children move through the nursery in their yearly cohorts which means that they remain with their friends, in their school year groups. They then move up into the next room each September as a group. This ensures smooth transitions throughout the nursery and a greater continuity in each child’s learning.
