A summary

All primary aged children are very welcome to join us at Queen's Park Primary, regardless of which school they attend. Our activities are adult led but we offer a choice for all ages and interests, making it easy for siblings to attend together and we encourage the children to spend time outdoors playing team games, sports and scavenger hunts as well as offering opportunities for space and time to chat with friends or enjoy individual activities such as arts and crafts or junk modelling.

Please contact us if there is anything you feel we should know about your child in order to help them settle and enjoy their time with us.

Spaces fill fast but we do often have cancelled or rearranged sessions closer to the holiday. We strongly recommend that you join the waiting list for any dates you would like that appear full as we will notify the list immediately when spaces open up.

HAF Conditions

A few T&Cs from Brighton & Hove City Council:

• Eligibility criteria – Brighton & Hove HAF funded places are for children and young people in reception to year 11 who receive benefits-related free school meals.
• Limits on bookings – Over the summer, Eequ will permit each eligible participant to be booked on to 16 HAF places across all providers in the city. If a session is not attended, HAF places cannot be added back on to an individual’s allocation, regardless of reason. It is therefore important that sessions are cancelled before the activity starts, and ideally giving a minimum of a few days’ notice where possible to allow other children to benefit. Bookings can be managed by the Booker by logging into Eequ and reviewing their Schedule.

Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
