What we'll do
Take part in a fun-filled programme of arts, creativity, exploration, performance, dance and hands-on activities at Salford Arts Theatre. Children and Young people will have the opportunity to create, make, perform, move, collaborate and express themselves through a wide range of exciting creative experiences. Activities will encourage imagination, confidence, communication and teamwork while helping participants develop new skills, make friends and discover new interests. Each week offers fresh opportunities to explore creativity in a welcoming, supportive and inspiring environment. No previous experience is needed—just enthusiasm, curiosity and a willingness to get involved and have fun. Lunch and snacks are provided each day.

Salford Arts Theatre has been delivering acting classes to young performers for over a decade. Our team, made up of professionals working in the industry, share their knowledge and skills to boost confidence and enable children to pursue a career within the industry.
Further information
To help everyone get the most from the programme, children should wear comfortable clothing suitable for creative activities and movement, as each day will include a dance session. For safety reasons, Crocs, flip-flops and sliders should not be worn. Please ensure children wear suitable footwear such as trainers. Our sessions are designed for children to attend the full four-day programme each week, allowing them to fully participate in activities, build confidence, develop new skills and work collaboratively with their peers. Lunch and snacks are provided each day. Please let us know of any dietary requirements, allergies or additional support needs when booking. All activities take place in a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where creativity, participation and enjoyment are encouraged.
