A summary
Thanks to Active Luton and Luton Borough Council, we are very pleased to be able to offer a free holiday provision for our students for three weeks of the Summer Holidays. Our holiday camp will run from Monday 20th July to Friday 7th August. Each day will it run from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm with the focus on being active and learning about nutrition, but most importantly having a lot of fun!
We would like to invite your child to attend this camp at The Stockwood Park Academy. The camp will consist of a fun program of activities each day, including: numeracy, literacy, sports, cookery, arts and more. A nutritious lunch will also be provided for your child along with snacks at breaktime.
There is no charge for students to attend this camp if in receipt of Free School Meals. Children will be arranged into small groups and will remain in these groups for the duration of the camp. Each group will be led by a member of staff from the Stockwood Park Academy.
As children will be taking part in physical activity, please can they wear clothing and footwear that is comfortable for this purpose. Children should bring a water bottle.
