A summary
These exciting STEM sessions will give young people the chance to become scientists for the day. After settling in with a drink of water and healthy snack (such as fruit, vegetable sticks and yoghurt), the group will be introduced to hands-on experiments and challenges that aim to interest and excite! Depending on the workshop theme, the young people will have the opportunity to participate in creating chemical reactions, build circuits or see a planetarium show. The sessions are highly interactive and leaders encourage the young people to ask questions and work together to explore. After each workshop, the young people will be offered a hot meal of chili and rice with a drink before the end of the session. We may be able to accommodate parents and carers supporting their child to access and enjoy our sessions, but please get in touch with us in advance to agree this.
