The ultimate theatre school for ages 4 to 14. This  4-day programme  is perfect for you if you enjoy acting, singing, dancing, musical theatre, and drama.

You will be preparing for your big performance all week long as you participate in a fun combination of acting, singing, and dance workshops!

Gain self-confidence,  enjoy yourself, develop lifelong friends, and create memories that last forever!

PERFORMANCE PREPARATION

Step into the world of theatre and learn to express yourself through acting and singing performance.

DANCE SESSIONS

Feel the rhythm and express yourself through dance, taught by experienced choreographers.

TIMETABLE FOR THE 5 DAYS

DAY 1
9am-10am: Ice breaker games
10am-11am: warm up and Jazz dancing
11am-11.30am break
11.30am-12.30am: Singing - Disney themed
12.30pm-1.30pm lunch
1.30pm-2.30pm: Musical Theatre
2.30pm onwards - join in with multi activity camp

DAY 2
9am-10am: Ice brreaker games/re-cap on Jazz
10am-11am: Hip-hop dance
11am-11.30am break
11.30am-12.30pm Acting
12.30pm-1.30pm lunch
1.30pm-2.30pm: Dance Battle
2.30pm onwards - join in with multi activity camp

DAY 3 AND 4
9am-10am: Ice breaker games/recap hip-hop and Jazz
10am-11am: Ballet or Lyrical
11am-11.30am break
11.30am-12.30pm Tap or free choice dance
12.30pm-1.30pm lunch
1.30pm-2.30pm Singing
2.30pm onwards - join in with multi activity camp

DAY 5
9am-2pm Rehearsal, costumes, face painting and prep for performance
2pm - performance
2.30pm onwards - join in with multi activity camp

Learning aims

Aim 1

Experience success and become more confident – APF camps helps children build self-confidence by removing the kind of academic, athletic and social competition that shapes their lives at school. Camp teaches kids that they can.

Aim 2

• Develop friendships – Camp is the place where children make their very best friends. Free from the social expectations pressuring them at school, we encourage children to relax and make friends easily. All the fun at camp draws everyone together— singing, laughing, talking, playing, doing almost everything together.

Aim 3

Spend your day being physically active – As children spend so much time these days inside and mostly sitting down, camp provides a wonderful opportunity to move. Running…..jumping…….climbing all help you to be more healthy.

Aim 4

Have free time for unstructured play – Free from the overly-structured, overly-scheduled routines of home and school, life at camp gives children much needed free time to just play…….relax, laugh, and be silly all day long. At camp we play!

Aim 5

Develop resilience – The kind of encouragement and nurture children receive at APF makes it a great environment to endure setbacks, try new things, and see that improvement comes when you give something another try. Camp helps conquer fears.

Aim 6

Develop life-long skills – at APF, we provide the right instruction, equipment and facilities for children to enhance their sports abilities, their artistic talents, and their adventure skills. The variety of activities offered at camp makes it easy for children to discover and develop what they like to do.
