A summary
Bristol Youth Connect will be organising two trips during the spring holidays for young people to explore nature and enjoy outdoor activities. These trips aim to strengthen young people’s relationship with nature and inspire them to engage more with the natural environment. The trips will give young people the opportunity to go outside their urban areas, explore the beauty and complexity of nature, take part in fun outdoor and nature-related activities, and positively socialise with their peers. They will also help build a sense of responsibility and stewardship towards the environment. The experience will inspire young people to engage with the natural world and deepen their understanding and appreciation of nature. Spending time in nature can greatly improve social, emotional, and mental well-being, and these trips are designed to provide young people with a positive and memorable experience during the school holidays.
