What we'll do
Join Artpod at St Margaret's School in Rottingdean for our SPRING INTO ART DAYS All sessions & the space and school grounds are SEND Friendly and our neurodiverse team are well equipped to help your little artist express themselves through the joy of arts & crafts! At our clubs, you learn top techniques with real artists and make new friends! Each day there are new materials and activities that promote self-expression and imaginative exploration. Examples include: painting and drawing, sculpture and sewing, slime and potions, growing your art, 3D building and decorating. We will be having enormous fun with countless art materials, and there is an amazing outdoor space too. We have purposefully chosen a menu of art activities that can be easily adapted to suit all ages and abilities. Everyone can create a variety of artworks each day, including making BIG ART outside in the brilliant outdoor space at St Margaret's school. There really is something creative for everyone! All materials, snacks and lunch provided. A few T&Cs from Brighton & Hove City Council: • Eligibility criteria – Brighton & Hove HAF funded places are for children and young people in reception to year 11 who receive benefits-related free school meals. • Limits on bookings – Over Spring, Eequ will permit each eligible participant to be booked on to 4 HAF places across all providers in the city. If a session is not attended, HAF places cannot be added back on to an individual’s allocation, regardless of reason. It is therefore important that sessions are cancelled before the activity starts, and ideally giving a minimum of a few days’ notice where possible to allow other children to benefit. Bookings can be managed by the Booker by logging into Eequ and reviewing their Schedule.

We can also create BIG ART outdoors, play and have picnics, treasure hunts and more in the brilliant , secure, shaded, sunny glorious outside space. Buses to get to Rottingdean include the 12, 27 & 14, which stop opposite Tesco`s (from Brighton Route) or outside the White Horses pub (from Peacehaven/ Newhaven route). Then its a 5 minute walk to the school. The number 2 bus stops near the Plough pub and the school is even closer. If driving, then please note there is space to "drop off" inside the school grounds, or the lane outside. Please look for the giant green recycling bin by the school main gate and Artpod will be there to meet you and let you inside. Each day our session runs from 9am - 3.00pm All sessions include snacks and a lunch. Each day starts at 9am and ends at 3pm.
