Spring HAF - Wild Spring with HillzFM (Week 1)

A summary
Week one will be focus on an animal theme. We will be creating soundscapes as a group exploring spring fauna and flora. As well as plan and present a radio show using the information learnt throughout the week. The week will finish with a trip to Spencer’s Retreat farm. Hot meals will be provided during every session, and a packed lunch will be supplied for the trip day. Nutritional activities will include food bingo, a food quiz with prizes, and hands-on experiments such as osmosis and the effect of salt on the body using potatoes. Themed creative activities will also take place, including making, decorating, and adding seeds to our very own bird feeders that each young person will be able to take home with them this Spring!
