Why this is useful

This programme is useful because it provides children with a safe, fun, and positive place to enjoy the school holidays.

Children will stay active through sports, team games, and movement activities, while also enjoying healthy hot meals, creative enrichment, and special activities such as Drone, VR, or Photography. It is a great opportunity for children to try something new, build confidence, make friends and enjoy being part of a supportive group.

The programme also supports children’s wellbeing by including calm moments, encouragement, healthy-eating discussions, positive role models and a welcoming environment where every child feels included, valued and able to take part.

For parents and carers, this programme offers peace of mind that children are spending their holiday time in a safe, structured and caring space, with activities that support their health, confidence, friendships and overall wellbeing.

Learning aims

Aim 1

By the end of the programme, children will understand how staying active, eating well, being creative and looking after their well-being can help them feel healthier, happier and more confident. Children will have the opportunity to take part in fun sports, movement games and team activities while learning how to work positively with others, build friendships and try something new. They will also explore creative and enrichment activities such as Photography, Drone or VR, and practise simple wellbeing tools such as calming, reflection, kindness, confidence-building, and positive communication. The aim is for every child to leave the programme feeling included, encouraged, more confident and proud of what they have achieved.

Cancellation policy

Booking and Attendance Policy Places on our HAF programme are limited, so we ask families to only book session that their child can attend. If your child cannot attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer the place to another child. If a child misses ONE booked session without letting us know in advance, we may not be able to accept any more bookings for that child during this programme. This is to make sure spaces are used fairly and that other children and families have the chance to take part. We understand that emergencies can happen, so please speak to us if there is a genuine reason your child could not attend

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
