Welcome to our HAF Nature Days!
Get out and active exploring nature, then head back to Slapton Ley Field Centre for a hot lunch. All days will involve an activity around food or arts and crafts.
Tuesday:
Have a go at beach bouldering at Mattiscombe Sands and explore the craggy coastline around Start Point – hopefully spotting a few seals on the way. Make your own smoothies back at centre and have a fun afternoon of team games and arts and crafts. (Please note this day will involve around 3 - 4 km of walking, some of this will be hills).
Wednesday:
Spend the day creating nature art and playing on the beach. Test your culinary skills and take part in the preparation of dinner. Take part in our team challenge game in the afternoon.
Thursday:
Take part in our fun orienteering trail and low ropes course. Learn about building fires and have a go at cooking some food around our fire.
Friday:
Put your crafting skills to good use and build yourself a bird box. Make your own pizza, and enjoy a fun afternoon of team games and arts and crafts.
To book on, follow the booking system to add your child's details, your eligibility will be verified, and you will then receive an email confirmation once your place is secure. These days are for children who are eligible for benefit-related free school meals.

Transport
Pick up and collection is from Slapton Ley Field Centre. However, we can offer collection and drop off from Kingsbridge and villages along the A379 to Slapton if you let us know in advance.
