What we'll do
We will provide a large range of bikes from trikes to hand-bikes, to wheelchair accessible, to side by side and trandems. We have a bike for everyone! Our friendly staff and volunteers will be there to support and advise making sure everyone has fun, stays safe and gets some exercise. They will arrange fun activities that will encourage discussion about healthy food and the benefits of good diet and exercise. This will include Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Relays and Treasure Hunts - children can cycle around the track individually, in pairs or quads using our various cycles and trikes. Our activities will be inclusive for all abilities. This will help to build friendships, encourage interaction, motivation and problem solving with peers. Opportunities will be provided to encourage the children to interact at meal times and around the track. Our holiday club will be delivered in a safe, secure environment on an outdoors athletic track with supervision from our trained staff. We run in all weather's so bring appropriate clothing (waterproofs when needed) We will help to develop your cycling skills in a fun filled way We will adhere to the Department for Education for school's food standards ensuring children have a pleasurable lunch time experience, helping to develop healthy eating habits and have the energy and nutrition they need to get the most from our cycling sessions. Cycling has physical and mental health benefits - low impact exercise improves balance and co-ordination, mood enhancement and can improve sleep. Also confidence building can lead to motivation to learn to ride independently, which can be accommodated in the future Parents and carers are welcome to stay throughout the session; there is a cafe on site for refreshments.

If I’m not on a bike I’m in the kitchen. Cycling and cooking are my 2 main passions. My passion is seeing my clients gain that little spark of independence; that moment all those people who said you can’t and we prove them wrong My 20 years in catering gives me a wealth of insight to offer advice and fun ways to learn about food..
