Join us for a fun filled six weeks of exciting and engaging activities!
Monday 20th July - World Cup Day - Celebrate the World Cup Final with our very own Football Tournament. Come in your favourite kit and enjoy some football fun. As the hosts of the World Cup we will be celebrating all things American! Have a go at drawing your favourite American land mark, will it be the Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty or the Golden Gate Bridge? Create an American Stars and Stipes Wand!
Thursday 23rd July - Ready, Steady Cook! Get ready to cook up some tasty food. Learn how to follow a recipe and make some delicious food!
Friday - Tye Dye, Mosaic Art & Hamma Beads - Tye Dye a pair of socks,
create patterns and pictures, using different coloured paper to make beautiful mosaic collages and enjoy creating some beautiful Hamma bead designs.
Monday 27th July - Every Child is an Artist - Explore a range of media and materials, learn about the different styles from famous artists and get ready to be creative! Use oil pastels to recreate the famous paintings of Van Gough, create your own abstract self-portrait just like Pablo Picasso, create your own dotty artwork to make your own fabulous paintings and enjoy some Outdoor large-scale painting
Tuesday 28th July - Giant Garden Games - Take on supersized fun with Giant Jenga, Tetris Tumble, Connect 4 and Dominoes in our Giant Garden Games Day!
Wednesday 29th July - Wild West Day - Yeehaaw! Get ready to join the Wild West! Join us in the Shooting Stars Saloon for some Wild West fun and games!
Wanted! Create your own Wanted Poster to give to the sheriff, find out your cowboy/girl name and create your own badge! Have a go at cactus ring toss, lasso & tin can alley! Design your own cowboy boots – use buttons, ribbons and sequins to create your own fabulous boots!
Friday 31st July - Mindfulness Day - Make a beautiful dream catcher to hang in your bedroom! Head to our foot spa & learn about reflexology or colour your way to calm with some mindful colouring! Make your own bracelets with a variety of beads to take home or make for a special friend!
Monday 3rd August - Travel Around the World Day - Create your own passport before heading off on a journey around the world! Learn phrases in other languages, make aboriginal art in Australia, Lanterns in China, Rangoli Patterns in India & Tribal Masks in Africa
Tuesday 4th August - Harry Potter Day - Welcome to Hogwarts!
Put on the sorting hat and take the test, which Hogwarts house will you be sorted into? Take part in a series of magical games, quizzes & challenges – which Hogwarts house will have the most points at the end of the day..? Design and make your own Witch or Wizard hat, create your own magic wand and write your own magic spells and potions to cast on your friends! Sit back and enjoy the magic with a Harry Potter movie!
Friday 7th August - Sports and Games - Let the Games Begin!
Spend the day going head-to-head in some classic sports games! Challenge you and your friends to a game of archery, show off your gymnastic skills or enjoy a game of cricket!
Monday 10th August - Survival Day -
Build a den and create a camp for the day. Go underground with camo facepaints, learn survival skills, how to use a compass & toast marshmellows as a tasty snack. Campsite Nature Crafts - Nature Wands, use twigs, wool, feathers, pipe cleaners and ribbons to create nature wands, create beautiful painted designs on pebbles and Eco Fabric Printing, use leaves and flowers to create prints using tools
Wednesday 12th August - K-Pop Day - K- Pop Dance Battle!
Challenge your friends to a dance battle and sing your heart out at Karaoke! Demons vs Hunters, who will win the battle to find the hidden gems? Make your own microphone! Glitter Face Paints!

Create beautiful pictures with your natural treasures; Leaf printings/rubbings, press wildflowers and nature collages.
Friday 14th August - Green Park Trip - We’ll be taking a trip to Green Park Woods – collect woodland treasure to make nature pictures!
Tuesday 18th August - Beach Day - We will be having fun filled day at the Shooting Stars Beach! Create your own Sand Art pictures using coloured sand. Create your own Pinwheel Windmill & paint your own Beach Silhouette using water colours. Beach volley ball, team up for a game of beach volley ball!
Wednesday 19th August - Superheroes vs Villains - Come dressed as your favourite superhero for a fun filled day! Get ready for a Nerf gun war! Let battle commence! Mask Making Create your own Superhero mask! Create your own Marvel story and designs your own Superhero and Villain Profile!
Thursday 20th August - Under the Sea - Paddling pools, water balloons, water pistols and much more! Don’t forget to bring a spare change of clothes & a towel! Under the Sea Crafts, make beautiful foil crafts, creating patterns using coloured pens, paint your seashells with vibrant colours, patterns and gems! Use jeweled stickers and collage materials to make your own mermaid crown, use bubblewrap to make colourful starfish!
Friday 21st August - Science & Investigation - Become scientists for the morning and take part in some fun experiments! Experiment with making your own slime creations! Let your imagination go wild and turn trash in to terrific models! Using recycled items – boxes, tubes, foil, lids, buttons & other materials!
Tuesday 25th August - Disco Dome - Get practicing your dance moves for our DISCO DOME bouncy castle!
Thursday 27th August - Bookworms - Book Themed Fancy Dress
Come dressed up as your favourite book character for a fun filled day celebrating our favourite stories and creating some of our own too! Make your own bookmark to take home. Use the story cubes or let your imagination run wild to create your own short story! Enjoy activities around our favourite stories…
Friday 28th August - Summerfest - SHOOTING STARS 2026
You are invited to our Shooting Stars Summer-Fest 2026! Make your own wristband & VIP Pass to access our festival themed day! Glitter Tattoos & Face Painting, Lip Sync Battle. Join your friends on the ’Main Stage’ for a lip sync sing off! Festival Flag Making

Shooting Stars Holiday Club
Shooting Stars Holiday Club
Our Holiday Club provides high quality childcare for children attending full-time school during every school holiday (excluding inset days and bank holidays). We are open five days per week from 7:30am to 6:00pm at our Cricket Club site, offering a fun, safe and engaging environment where children can socialise and enjoy new experiences alongside their friends. Each holiday is packed with exciting themed days, creative activities and special events. We also organise a variety of trips out, such as visits to the cinema, bowling, The Hepworth Gallery and the Royal Armouries, giving children opportunities to explore and learn beyond the setting. In addition, we welcome a range of external providers who deliver enriching workshops and experiences, such as Zoolab animal encounters, Bricktopia building workshops and Circus Skills sessions.
