A summary
Our SOSI SHINE Dance and Performing Arts Project will run from 9.00am-15.00pm during the Christmas school holidays and is for all children aged 6-11 years old (Year 1 in primary to year 7 in secondary school). The days will be full of choreographed dance and gymnastic sessions, singing lessons and drama workshops. All will enjoy a wholesome and nutritious breakfast and hearty, healthy hot meal for lunch. We have created and designed a menu that will change daily and will allow children to choose between main lunch options. (See Menu Attached) All participants will enjoy child fitness classes such as Clubbercise, Pound, Zumba, Boxercise and other ETM (Exercise to music) classes as well as Yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi. Promoting, always being active, improving physical and mental wellbeing and making new friends in a positive and safe environment.

“Providing and promoting positive experiences and attitudes towards physical activity and sport” The SOSI staff are a dedicated team of physical education and fitness specialists. They share the same vision: to increase children’s participation and improve positive attitudes towards physical activity and sport through their authentic services. These services include: SOSI school holiday sports programmes, SHINE Dance and Performing Arts Projects, SOSI Saturday clubs, and SOSI Tots physical development sessions and Children's Parties in Bubbleball, Laser Tag and Nerf Wars.
SHINE Dance and Performing Arts Project
All children and staff joining together at the end of each programme to showcase/perform their new skills and talents in singing, acting and dancing to family and friends. Also celebrating children’s achievements over the 5 days and allows all families to come together to receive FREE food education training and advice and allow outside organisations and clubs to attend to signpost parents and carers to services that may be able to help.
