During each session, families will experience a gentle carousel of activities tailored to meet a wide range of sensory needs. This includes calming and interactive play in our purpose-built Sensory Starz room, where children can explore light, sound, and tactile elements in a safe, adaptable environment.
Alongside this, our SEND gymnastics area will offer fun, movement-based activities that support motor skills, coordination, body awareness, and confidence — all delivered with an inclusive and person-centred approach that allows every child to participate at their own pace.
These sessions are relaxed, welcoming, and focused on promoting wellbeing, connection, and joy. Whether you’re attending for the first time or join us regularly, every child and family is supported, understood, and celebrated. At Sensory Starz, we’re more than a room — we’re a community that cares.
Parents/carers remain with their children throughout the session.

If you receive benefits related Free school meals you must not book this activity, you should book a HAF activity.
The Crisis and Resilience Fund supports families in Middlesbrough that are receiving support with the following:
Universal Credit and do not receive benefit related free school meals.
Low Family Income.
Family Saving of £6,000 or less.
Household member with a CR1 form.
