A summary
Join us this October half-term for an exciting Sensory Cooking experience, specially designed for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). In this hands-on activity, children will explore food through their senses – discovering new textures, vibrant colors, and enticing smells and tastes. It's a fun and engaging way to build confidence, familiarity, and acceptance of different foods.
In celebration of Black History Month, we'll be creating unique, sensory-friendly versions of traditional Afro-Caribbean dishes. Our SEND-experienced teaching assistants will be on hand to support both parents/carers and children, ensuring every child can fully participate and enjoy this interactive experience.
