About your mentor
Twinkles SEN Activity Days CIC
Creating Memories Together
Twinkles SEN Activity Days CIC provides inclusive, family-focused activity days for children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and disabilities. Our aim is to create opportunities for families to enjoy fun, engaging experiences together in a supportive and non-judgemental environment. We understand that many families can face barriers to accessing community activities, so we strive to provide welcoming events where children can be themselves, build confidence, make friends, and create lasting memories. At Twinkles, every family is valued, every child is celebrated, and everyone belongs.
What we'll do
Please arrive at 10.45am for entry into the park at 11.00am. Meet our team at the guest services outside the main entrance, where we will give you your wrist bands. Throughout the day, we will explore the park together , providing opportunities for children and families to socialise, ride the rides, watch the shows, build friendships, share experiences, and create lasting memories. If you feel that this is suitable for your family. Families are welcome to enjoy attractions at their own pace and with just there own family if they wish; however, we will aim to stay together as a group where possible to encourage social interaction, peer support, and a sense of community. We will have a member of staff at a designated meeting spot where we will also have lunch. If you choose to explore the park independently, we kindly ask that you rejoin the group at our designated meeting point for lunch @ 1pm. We understand this could be a struggle for some children so please feel free to do what suits your family. We aim to leave the park around 5pm however you can leave when you feel its the time to leave.
