A summary

The SEND Ice Skating session is aimed at those children and young people who are SEND and their families. The session is open to those who live in Hull or attend a Hull school. The session has a reduced capacity to create a calmer environment where families can get on the ice together, and take part in an activity together. The music is removed from the session, to create a more accommodating environment, and there is a quiet space if needed for any families. When booking please select the correct ticket for the adults and children that will be attending. Only adults going on the ice need a ticket, spectators do not require one. Skate hire is included for all those that attend and the skating aids will be available at the session. These will be put out for families to share during the duration of the session. A packed lunch will be provided at the session. The team will aim to accomodate all allergies and dietary requirements. All children at this session must be accompanied by an adult. Skaters under 8, and children who need extra support, must have an adult on the ice with them. It can be cold in the Ice Arena so please dress warmly and wear thick socks, as these work work well with the ice skates. As this is a SEND session priority will be given to those participants with SEND and their families.
