Cancellation Policy
‘The weather shouldn’t stop you….but inappropriate clothing could…….’
(Unknown:2019)
Back2Basics Forest School aim to run sessions all year round, through all seasons. Unfortunately, in some instances this may not be possible due to adverse weather conditions. Back2Basics may have to cancel sessions if;
• In the case of the Met Office issuing a warning of winds at 25mph or more/ gusts of 39mph and above
• In the case of extreme heat where the Met Office have issued an Amber weather warning for heat
• If the weather drops below 0 the session can still run, but only if the children and young people are dressed appropriately and are of sound physical health. Activities will be adapted to something more active where body temperatures can be raised
The Forest School Lead will take all steps to ensure the relevant people are aware of this prior to the session starting. PLEASE NOTE; In some instances this may not be possible with sessions potentially cancelled on or suing the session.
My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
