Inclusive Provision SEND children will join our mainstream programme with additional support in place. Where needed, we also offer separate, quieter activities to ensure every child feels safe, happy, and fully included. Children’s Sports Camp (Ages 8–14) Active. Fun. Supportive. A holiday experience they’ll never forget. Looking for a vibrant, energetic, and nurturing holiday camp where your child can stay active, build confidence, and make new friends? Our Children’s Sports Camp offers high quality provision designed to engage, excite, and support every child who walks through our doors. What to Expect When You Arrive Families are welcomed by our friendly team at check in, where children are introduced to their group leaders for the day. Staff guide them through the space, help them settle in, and ensure they feel comfortable before activities begin. Daily Structure: A Full, Exciting Programme Our days are thoughtfully planned so children experience a balance of physical activity, creativity, and fun. A typical day includes: Start of the Day • Welcome and warm up games • Group briefing and choice based activity options Mid Morning to Afternoon • A rotating timetable of sports such as: o Football o Basketball o Cricket o Dodgeball o Multi skill challenges • Fun additional activities: o Bouncy castle o Mini competitions o Team challenges o Climbing (if available) • Creative sessions may include: o Arts & crafts o Custom badge making o Team banners o Simple themed creations (seasonal crafts, mini models, etc.) End of the Day • Group cool down • Reflection time • Awards, recognition, and pick up briefing Our Spaces Children enjoy a mix of indoor and outdoor areas, including: • Indoor sports hall or activity room • Outdoor pitches, courts, or grassed areas • Breakout spaces for calm time or SEND friendly activities This allows us to tailor environments to different needs, weather conditions, and age groups. Group Sizes & Age Appropriate Support To keep children safe, supported, and actively involved: • Children are grouped by age where possible (e.g., 8–10s and 11–14s). • Activities are adapted to ensure older children are challenged while younger children feel confident and included. • Staff-to-child ratios ensure personalised attention and high-quality supervision. Food & Nutrition A hot lunch is provided daily, giving children the energy they need for a full day of activity. Dietary needs and allergies can be accommodated—just let us know when booking. Our Staff Your child will be supported by a team of: • Experienced sports coaches • Qualified activity leaders • SEND trained staff • Enthusiastic, welcoming team members who prioritise safety, fun, and positive relationships We pride ourselves on delivering a high standard of care and instruction, ensuring every child feels valued and included. SEND Provision • SEND children are included within mainstream groups with tailored support. • We offer specialist staff, quiet spaces, and modified activities when required. • The environment and daily programme are designed so every child can participate meaningfully and confidently.

Juma: Fun and Enthusiastic Sports Coach Juma is a sports coach who brings a vibrant energy and positive attitude to every session. Known for his enthusiasm and infectious passion for sports, Juma creates an engaging and supportive environment for athletes of all ages and abilities.

Additional Information Getting Here • Entrance: The entrance is located at the end of the school car park. Please use the main sports centre reception entrance, where staff will greet you and direct children to their groups. • Parking: Free on site parking is available. Example Daily Schedule (Times may vary slightly depending on weather and group needs) • 10:00 – 10:15 | Arrival, welcome, warm up games • 10:15 – 11.50 | Main Activity e.g. sports rotation, gym sessions or girls zone • 11:50 – 12:00 | Lunch prep – Wash hands etc • 12:00 – 12:45 | Hot lunch and social time • 12:45 – 13:00 | Afternoon ease by games • 13:00 – 13:45 | Main Activity e.g. team games, inflatables etc • 13:45 – 14:00 | Cool down, awards, and collection Sample Menu (Hot Lunch Provided Daily) Examples of meals children may enjoy include: • Pasta with tomato • Vegetable Biryani • Spaghetti with Veggies • Fruit cake • Fresh fruit All dietary requirements can be accommodated—please inform us at booking. Kit List Please ensure your child brings: • Comfortable sports clothing • Trainers suitable for indoor & outdoor use • A refillable water bottle • Weather appropriate extras (coat, hat, sun cream) • Any required medication (labelled and handed to staff at check in) All sports equipment is provided. SEND Support • SEND children are included in the mainstream programme with tailored adult support where needed. • Quieter spaces and adapted activities are available to help children regulate or take part at their own pace. • Staff trained in SEND support are available daily. • Parents are welcome to discuss individual needs in advance so we can prepare the best possible experience.
