A summary

This two hour parent and carer workshop helps parents to understand the differences between self-harming and self-injurious behaviours. The delivered content will explain many of the causes of self-harm and the strategies that professionals use to try to support young people experiencing these difficulties. There will be time within the work shop for parents to explore how they can support their own child to reduce or stop self harming.
This is also an opportunity to meet other parents to over advice and support.

**This workshop is for parents only. For professional training, please see https://www.wves.wolverhampton.gov.uk/training
