FAQ
Q- Can i stay for the session A - Yes! Parents are encouraged to stay and join in, but staff are provided if you can't. Just let us know in advance if you are needing to drop off. Q - Do we need to have experience? A- No! Everyone is welcome, no experience necessary. Q- Can you accommodate for SEND needs? A- We will always do our best to accommodate where we can, our staff are experienced in working with riders with Autism, ADHD etc. However due to the nature of the day, riders will need to be able to get on and off a horse or pony by climbing steps. I'm sorry to say we don't have any hoists/ ramps. Any children who require 1 on 1 support will need to bring a carer or parent to assist in the session. Q- Do you provide equipment? A - Yes! We have plenty of riding hats for you to use, and a selection of shoes. However, if possible please send your child in wellies or boots with a small heel. No trainers. Parents if you are staying, please bear in mind, it is a muddy stable yard, so wellies are best! Q - Can you provide 1 on 1 support? A - Children will be split into small groups of 5, but if your child requires one on one support we ask that they come with a parent or carer to help ensure they enjoy the day! I'm sorry we cannot assist with toileting needs, we do not have a fully accessible toilet. Q- What food is provided? A - A warm meal is kindly provided by ZAX (Goole). The food will be something such as (Cheese & Tomato Pasta, with carrot sticks and Bun, or Chicken Nuggets, Chips and Beans and Bun etc.) Squash juice or water. If you have specific dietary requirements we will need at least 48 hours notice. You are welcome to bring your own packed lunch if you prefer, please however let us know in advance, to save food waste!
