What we'll do
Saturday Curiosity Club - arts, crafts, games, dance, music and drama. FREE inclusive and accessible activities for children aged 5+. Curiosity Club is designed to be inclusive for all children, including children with additional support or emotional needs; SEND, looked after children, children with a social worker, and children who may find other out-of-school activities inaccessible to them. Unfortunately we are currently unable to support children with complex needs who require consistent 1to1 support or assistance with toileting, but we are seeking funding to offer this additional support in the future. Please get in touch if you'd like to be added to a waiting list for 1to1 supported places. Children are welcome to attend with a family member or support worker. When: Saturdays from 13th September to 13th December Times: 1.30pm - 4.00pm Where: St. Patrick's Church Hall, Wolverhampton, WV10 0QQ ''Outstanding. Real attention to detail. Understanding, kind, compassionate, sensitive to additional needs.'' - Parent of previous Curiosity Club attendee For more information, visit: https://curiosityproductions.co.uk/curiosity-club/ Places for Curiosity Club fill quickly, so book your child's place soon to avoid disappointment! Each week, there'll be different activities to get involved with as we're joined by different guest artists who will host fun creative workshops for our two age groups - 5 to 8 years and 8 to 16 years. No two weeks will be the same as we explore activities including drama, music, painting, poetry, crafts and more! All facilitators are DBS checked, trained in safeguarding, health & safety, and child-led creative play. There will always be a trained medical first aider within the sessions.

About your mentor
Curiosity Productions
Encouraging creativity, nurturing imagination
We support people to discover their own potential through creative opportunities that nurture imagination and build confidence. We produce accessible and inclusive creative events and opportunities that support and develop creatives, artists, and local communities. We co-design and co-create our projects with our participants. We work with brilliant local artists who reflect the diversity of our communities.
Access
We are committed to equity, access and inclusion and we are a neurodiverse team. We know that every person has different needs so it can usually be helpful to chat through how we can make things work for your child. Please contact us to let us know if there is anything we can do to make this opportunity accessible and comfortable for your child, or if you require more information about access provision. email: access@curiosityproductions.co.uk mobile: 07967 187822 (calls, text or WhatsApp) Carers and/or family members are welcome to attend with the participant, but this is not a requirement for all participants and we encourage children to attend independently if they are able to, as they often engage more fully in activities and with other children without family members present. We have volunteers working alongside our paid staff to add capacity to our team and enable us to provide some one-to-one support for any children that may need this to enable them to fully engage in the sessions. Volunteers all receive training from Curiosity Productions in safeguarding and facilitating creative play, but are not fully qualified carers or support staff. If a child requires consistent one-to-one support or assistance with toileting they are welcome to attend with a support worker or family member, we are currently seeking funding to be able to offer fully supported places for children with more complex needs. Please get in touch if you'd like to be added to the waiting list for these places. At St Patrick's Church Hall there is a ground level step free entrance with a platform stair lift up to the first floor where most activities take place. The stair lift has a seat and can also accommodate a standard size wheelchair. It may not be large enough for some powered wheelchairs so please contact us to discuss if you feel that this could be an issue for you. There is an accessible toilet on the ground floor. There is a quiet space where participants can take time out from the main activity, which will be facilitated by a Curiosity Club activity leader. There is a car park with reserved accessible parking spaces.

Cancellation Policy
Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
