Salford Autism Youth Club - I AM

I AM Celebrating Autism in Greater Manchester

A summary
Welcome to Our Social Club for Children with Autism!
At our club, every young person has a voice in choosing what we do together. Activities may include computer gaming, arts and crafts, board games, music, and when the weather allows - fun trips to the park.
Our team of specially trained staff members are here to support and encourage each participant, ensuring everyone can take part fully and comfortably. Through play, creativity, and collaboration, our children build important social skills, explore their interests, and gain the confidence to use these skills in everyday life.
Before a child takes part in our youth clubs, we explore with them and their parent or carer whether this is the right setting for them, to make sure that we can support their needs. Please contact I AM at 0161 866 8483 or on enquiries@i-am-autism.org.uk to arrange this. Once this is done, there is no need to book a session – a child can just drop in.

I AM Celebrating Autism in Greater Manchester
I AM Celebrating Autism in Greater Manchester
We’re a UK-registered charity working with and supporting a wide range of people, aged 10 years and upwards, who have a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Condition (which can also be called Asperger Syndrome, High Functioning Autism or Autistic Spectrum Disorder) as well as their families, guardians and carers in Greater Manchester. Our aim is to be the main developer and provider of support services for people with autism in the region and to be known as an exemplar and the first point of contact in this area. More than that, we’re here because we understand the challenges that ASC can bring. We have the knowledge, experience and passion to help individuals and families work through them towards a happier place with autism as a part of their daily lives.
