What we'll do
Enjoy a full week on the coast with sailing, windsurfing and fun beach activities building confidence, teamwork and essential soft skills while spending each day on the water and shoreline. A lively, inspiring week filled with challenge, growth and adventure ***This activity has been funded through the Department for Education’s (DfE) Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme and coordinated by East Sussex County Council. Fully funded places are available for young people eligible for benefits-related free school meals. This eligibility criteria has been defined by the DfE. Additionally young people in several other target cohorts can attend funded places, such as those with SEND or Looked After Children (LAC). Please note, eligibility will be confirmed as part of the booking process.***

Buzz Active is a non-profit organisation, run by East Sussex County Council. Our vision is to provide access to outdoor activities to all, in stunning locations in East Sussex. We run nationally accredited courses, taught by qualified instructors, for individuals, groups and families, for children from 6 onwards, for schools, and groups with special needs.

What students need to bring
We will supply wetsuits and windproof tops. Students must have footwear they can wear in the water ( no loose slip on's, crocs, wellies or heavy boots), and warm clothes for afterwards left with them for the course.

Aim 1
Learning through the wonder of adventure. building personal skills through sailing. We are working through the RYA sailing and windsurfing stage 1 syllabus during this course.
