What we'll do
Rugbees is a rugby development session for girls aged 6-12. We welcome children who already play and want to extend their skills and children who would like to get into playing Rugby League. Our Community Coach, adn current Ulverston Ladies coach Ruth Parker and our highly experience Super League Ladies Coach Amand Wilkinson will deliver high quality weekly sessions. The sessions will be split into appropriate age and development groups. All skills will be covered, evasion, movement, catching and passing.

Advantage!, a registered charity, is the community arm of Barrow Raiders RLFC, is designed to support people who suffer disadvantage within the heart of Barrow. Advantage! is now a sustained but still developing programme with its initial focus and immediate dynamic impact being to improve the physical and mental wellbeing of the young people and adults, and vulnerable adults, in the heart of Barrow, through the medium of rugby league and healthy lifestyle initiatives. Thanks to support from our Patrons, Advantage! is a sustained, but still developing programme, touching the lives of over 800 people per week, maintaining its initial focus and impacting on the wellbeing of the community, in the heart of Barrow.
