What we'll do
The Tuesday Taster project offers young people aged 10 - 16 years the chance to try a range of different, fun activities, led by local youth workers in a safe, friendly, non judgemental space. The sessions on offer, will include: Week 1 - Bath Bombs - a hands on sensory experience, that teaches basic chemistry, through fun creative crafting. Week 2 - Slime Workshop - fun hands on, sensory experience where you get to mix colour and customise your own goo. Week 3 - Den Building Workshop - a fun, hands on outdoor session, which teaches, shelter making skills and team work. Week 4 - Board Games Development workshop - a fun, hands on session, working with staff to develop your own games and characters. Week 5 - Baking workshop - a hands on session, building on your love of baking or creating savoury treats.

Route one Youth Centre is a great way to get involved in lots of new things and meet new friends. Route one Youth Centre in Hull provides young people aged 10 to 24 with a wide range of fun, educational and challenging things to do and places to go, in the local community. Some of the many things on offer at the centres include; • Activities of your choice such as football, music, cooking and lots more • A safe and chilled out environment for young people to meet friends and make new ones • Volunteering and helping others • Learning new skills • Accredited youth work schemes such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award or the Youth Arts Award • Access to events across Hull and out of town

All young people attending Route One Tuesday taster sessions must complete a Youth Development Service registration form.
