What we'll do
The children will be outdoors (weather dependant) in our Rotunda wellbeing Gardens - a secure and welcoming community space. We have our own garden kitchen, community allotments, greenhouse, woodland area, hammocks and craft tables - the perfect space for children to enjoy themselves. Throughout the HAF we will offer hands on and creative projects! Past activities have included smoothie making, bug hunts, trips to rice lane farm, clay craft and helping in our community allotments, FREE breakfast and lunch for each child who qualifies for Free School Meals or children are welcome to bring their own packed lunch. (Please let us know when booking along with any dietary requirements) Please encourage your children to wear clothes suitable for the outdoors. We have 25 FREE places available for children - please ensure you book a place - if you have any questions please drop into Rotunda.

About your mentor
The Rotunda
Community, heritage cafe and wellbeing garden
Rotunda is an anchor charity based in Kirkdale, North Liverpool. We are based within five Grade II listed Georgian terrace houses, and are surrounded with beautiful community gardens. We host kids and youth clubs, half term & summer clubs, and forest school. We have been serving our local community for over 30 years, and our mission is to lead on social regeneration. We are home to Rotunda College, an accessible and inclusive education provider specialising in flexible adult learning. There is a nursery on site with OFSTED 'good' rating. The Heritage Cafe has a great history resources, and provides food for the nursery, college and kids clubs. We provide community events, skills workshops, food bank, garden sessions, forest school and volunteer opportunities.
When you arrive
On arrival please come to Rotunda Café where you'll meet our team who will be on hand to settle the children in. Parents are not required to stay for the sessions but we understand that some parents may prefer to stay on site - if this is the case we'll ask you to make yourselves comfortable in the café whilst the sessions are on. If you have any questions or concerns please speak to a member of staff.
