A summary
At Rise Wirrals Sport’s HAF Camp, we provide a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where children and young people can enjoy a range of physical activities, develop new skills, and make lasting friendships. Our camp is designed to keep participants active and entertained, with activities including sports, creative arts, team challenges, and wellness workshops. We believe in nurturing both physical and mental well-being, so our programs are crafted to build confidence, teamwork, and resilience. In addition, every day includes free nutritious meals and snacks to ensure our participants stay fuelled and learn about healthy eating habits. Our dedicated coaches and volunteers are passionate about making every day a new adventure, creating a space where each child feels valued and empowered to grow.

Using Sport to make a change in communities.
Rise Wirral CIC is a community interest company which has been designed to break down barriers in communities but uses sport as the catalyst. These barriers vary some of which we see day to day such as Anti-social behaviour, and cost of living crisis. Some barriers we don’t see but are just as important is social exclusion, which has become more evident since we were plunged into a global pandemic. And due to day to day stresses a massive barrier in all demographics in life, is our own mental health and we aim to use sport to overcome all these barriers, plus anywhere else we can help!
What happens at our camps?
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) What should my child bring? Please bring comfortable sportswear, water bottle, and any required medication. All other equipment will be provided. Is lunch provided? Yes, nutritious meals and snacks are provided daily to ensure participants have the energy they need. What ages is the camp suitable for? Our camp is open to children and young people aged 6-12 who are eligible. Sample Menu Morning Snack: Fresh fruit selection and whole-grain bars Lunch: Balanced meal with options such as grilled chicken wraps, veggie pasta, or a hearty stew Afternoon Snack: Smoothies, yogurt, and oat cookies

Aim 1
Understand the basics of physical activity, nutrition, and the importance of being active. Gain knowledge about healthy eating habits, hydration, and the benefits of exercise
Aim 2
Coached sessions, attendees will have the chance to practice foundational skills across a range of sports. Including proper techniques, game rules, and experiencing teamwork
Aim 3
Setting goals, challenges, celebrating achievements. Learn that progress takes effort helping to build self-confidence and resilience that they can carry beyond camp
