Embrace your wild side & celebrate the summer solstice with us at a gorgeous Dartmoor rewilding project. This weekend is a unique opportunity to leave the modern world behind, shake off domesticity, and immerse yourself in nature and community.
You’ll reconnect with your wild instincts, learn about the transformative process of rewilding this land and the reintroduction of beavers; forage for seasonal wild foods, and deepen your connection with native trees. Gather around the campfire to sing and share stories, enjoy a woodland sauna, a refreshing plunge in the chilly stream or simply relax in quiet contemplation beneath ancient beech trees.
We may also have an opportunity to get hands-on with some practical rewilding activities, subject to requirements at the time.
This special event offers a rare chance to experience a beautiful and secluded location, surrounded by a supportive community of like-minded women. It’s an off-grid camping weekend & you’ll need to bring your own camping kit; a tent or tarp & bivvy bag to just sleep under the stars.
While the activities are not overly strenuous, full mobility is required to participate. Please note, while we have exclusive use of the site, some of the experts leading the beaver tour and educating us about the rewilding project may be male.
Arrival is from 3pm on Friday 20 June, we will wrap by at 2pm on Sunday 22 June.
Location- Devon (Dartmoor)
Exact location will be provided on booking, 3 weeks in advance of the date but is on private land in the north east of Dartmoor, near Moretonhampstead, Devon. We will facilitate and encourage car sharing to the site nearer to the time.

Cancellation policy
Please see full terms and conditions on the Joyful Outdoors website. To keep costs down and due to up front costs involved in setting up this weekend, the booking fee is non-refundable, though we can be flexible if you want to transfer your booking to someone else.
My experience is an educational activity, and the ‘14-day cooling period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 therefore applies. After the 14 day period my standard policy will apply.
