Welcome to Redrock Horizons At Redrock Outdoor Ltd, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to explore, achieve, and thrive. Redrock Horizons is our holiday adventure programme for young people aged 10–15, designed to provide exciting outdoor experiences that build confidence, resilience, friendships, and life skills. Set within our beautiful Exmouth Camp and surrounding coastline, participants enjoy a wide range of activities including paddleboarding, kayaking, archery, axe throwing, bushcraft, survival skills, team challenges, and beach-based adventures. More than just a holiday club, Redrock Horizons encourages young people to step away from screens, embrace new challenges, develop independence, and create lasting memories in a supportive and inclusive environment. Our experienced instructors are passionate about helping every participant succeed, ensuring activities are safe, engaging, and accessible to all abilities. Whether it is their first adventure with us or they are returning for another action-packed holiday, every young person is encouraged to discover new strengths, make new friends, and leave with greater confidence than when they arrived. Redrock Outdoor Ltd is an award-winning outdoor education and adventure provider based in Exmouth. We specialise in creating safe, exciting, and meaningful experiences that help young people build confidence, develop life skills, and enjoy the benefits of the outdoors. Our experienced team delivers a wide range of land and water-based activities, including paddleboarding, kayaking, archery, bushcraft, team challenges, and outdoor adventure programmes. Through our school residentials, activity days, holiday programmes, and first aid training, we inspire young people to challenge themselves, make new friends, and discover what they are capable of achieving. Redrock Horizons
Redrock Horizons Adventure Days Adventure. Friendship. Confidence. Every Redrock Horizons session is packed with adventure, challenge, and opportunities to try something new. Designed for young people aged 10–15, our programme combines outdoor activities, teamwork, and personal development to create experiences that are both exciting and meaningful. No two days are exactly the same. Our instructors adapt activities to suit the group, the weather, and the opportunities each day presents, ensuring every session remains fresh, engaging, and full of discovery. Activities May Include Paddleboarding, kayaking, and Mega SUP adventures Archery, archery tag, and axe throwing Bushcraft, shelter building, fire lighting, and survival skills Team challenges that encourage communication, leadership, and problem-solving Nature exploration, outdoor games, and adventure challenges Sports, group activities, and camp-wide challenges Food, Life Skills & Independence Participants enjoy nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day, helping to fuel their adventures and maintain energy levels. Where appropriate, young people are encouraged to take part in simple tasks such as preparing food, helping with washing up, and working together to care for shared equipment. These small responsibilities help develop independence, teamwork, and confidence in a practical and supportive environment. Teamwork & Communication Develop cooperation, leadership, and communication skills through group activities, team challenges, and shared outdoor experiences.
Aim 3
Problem Solving & Decision Making Encourage creative thinking, planning, and adaptability through practical tasks, adventure activities, and challenge-based learning.
Aim 5
Independence & Responsibility Encourage personal responsibility by caring for equipment, supporting fellow participants, and contributing to shared tasks such as tidying activity areas and assisting with mealtime clear-up.

Confidence & Resilience Build self-belief, perseverance, and a willingness to step outside comfort zones by taking part in new and exciting challenges.

Outdoor Skills & Physical Activity Develop fundamental outdoor and paddle sport skills while promoting an active lifestyle, water confidence, and safe participation in adventure activities.

Wellbeing & Positive Relationships Promote friendship, inclusion, respect, and a sense of belonging through positive social interactions and shared experiences in the outdoors.
Our Expectations
Behaviour Expectations At Redrock Horizons, we are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment where all participants can learn, grow, and have fun. All participants are expected to follow instructions from staff, treat others with kindness and respect, and behave in a manner that does not place themselves or others at risk. We actively encourage teamwork, positive attitudes, and consideration for fellow participants. Whilst we understand that young people may occasionally become excited or frustrated, behaviour that is disruptive, abusive, aggressive, threatening, discriminatory, or unsafe will not be tolerated. To ensure the safety and wellbeing of all attendees, Redrock Horizons operates a zero-tolerance policy towards serious or persistent unacceptable behaviour. Participants who fail to meet these expectations may be withdrawn from activities, sent home, and may not be permitted to attend future sessions. In such cases, parents or guardians will be contacted immediately. Our aim is always to support young people to succeed and enjoy their experience, and we appreciate the support of parents and carers in reinforcing these expectations. Mobile Phone Policy To promote safety, engagement, and positive social interaction, mobile phones are not permitted during activities. If a participant brings a mobile phone to a session, it must remain switched off and stored securely in their bag throughout the day. Phones may only be used with the permission of a member of staff in exceptional circumstances. Any participant found using a mobile phone during activities may be asked to hand it to a member of staff for safekeeping until collection, or may be withdrawn from the activity if the use creates a safety concern or ongoing disruption. We thank parents, carers, and participants for supporting a distraction-free environment that allows everyone to fully engage in the Redrock Horizons experience. Any participant whose behaviour places themselves, other participants, staff, or members of the public at risk may be removed from the programme immediately.
