A summary
The final instalment of our Summer holiday activities at Ormesby Library we welcome Gruesome History back! Come along and find out what medicine was used in the Victorian era. From leeches, questionable instruments and even more questionable methods you can count yourself lucky things have changed! Have a go at making your own realistic scabs and scars, making your own toothpaste and extract bullets from wounds! This is not for the squeamish. Please ensure children a dressed in clothing you don't mind getting marked and they can actively play in. Also ensure they are wearing suitable footwear- No Crocs or flip flops.
