A summary
Rand Farm Park Christmas Experience has become a firm favourite at GTF HAF. Thanks to a £500 enrichment fund from LCC, we will be able to make the trip again this Christmas.
Children will visit the Large Animal Barn and be able to feed the goats and rabbits; enjoy a Tractor Ride; a walk through the Enchanted Forest to meet real reindeers and watch the Elf Academy Interactive Show. No Christmas visit would be complete without a visit to Santa himself and decorate biscuits with Mrs Claus. Each child will be able to select a toy from the Magical Toyshop.
The day will include a teaching element where children will learn the concept of 'farm to plate' and where food comes from, and a creative activity such as making a craft 'pigs in blankets'.
Children should be dressed weather appropriately, bearing in mind there will be outdoor activities and walking outside/in animal barns.
Transport will be provided to and from Rand Farm from Roses.
You must book 2 sessions: morning and afternoon for this activity.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
This activity is a full day trip so you need to book 2 sessions - the morning and the afternoon.
The bus will leave Roses Sports Ground at 9.00am. The children need to be at The Venue at 8.45am to register use the toilet if necessary.
Please dress children appropriately for the weather on the day bearing in mind they will be outdoors some of the time and in the animal barns.
The children will be moving between activities and buildings so it is recommended that they do not come with large bags and toys.
TRIGGERS: The Park covers a wide area and is very busy at Christmas. This trip may not be appropriate for children who find crowds and noise difficult. Parents / guardians also need to bear in mind there will be close contact with farm animals - this may be an issue for any children with allergies.

The hamper will be made up in a large shopping bag. If you are unable to take it with you on the day, you will be able to collect it at the end of HAF Club, until 2pm on Wednesday 23rd December.

Cancellation policy
Persistent 'no shows' on 2 or more occasions, and no communication, will result in remaining sessions being cancelled. It is vital that parents record all SEND details to ensure we have sufficient staff to support their child. Please note all dietary requirements. Our aim is to adhere to the HAF healthy eating ethos as far as possible. If your child has particular needs, it would be helpful to discuss them BEFORE the booking is confirmed.
My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
