A summary
After 5 years of delivering award-winning weightlifting training to young women in Lincolnshire, SGS is rolling out a series of workshops specifically designed to help boys find their strength.
From our strength and conditioning facility in South Hykeham, we are proud to present RAISING THE BAR, a series of boys-only weightlifting classes for young men aged 11-16.
Our experienced coaches will provide expert instruction in fundamental elements of strength training such as deadlifting, squatting, all elements of free weights, and the basics of Olympic weightlifting. Emphasis will be on safety, proper technique, and fun.
No previous experience is necessary, and all sizes, shapes, and levels of ability are welcome.

We are a group of strength and conditioning coaches who have experienced for ourselves the mental and physical benefits of being strong and belonging to a gym community, and we would like to share that experience with young people who might not otherwise have the opportunity.
