PowerStation Summer Programme

PowerStation Youth Centre offers a range of activities for young people throughout the summer, including our HAF programme We’ll also be running additional sessions, workshops, and themed days, so be sure to check out our full summer programme — HAF young people are welcome to attend these too. Membership Information: If your child is in primary school, we ask that a parent or carer completes a membership form on their behalf. We also require clear consent regarding how your child will leave the session — whether they are allowed to walk home independently or will be collected by a parent or another trusted adult. For children in secondary school they can complete their own membership form. The membership form is simple and can either be completed before the child arrives with the link above to the youth centre or in site by scanning a QR code.

Young people have access to our music recording facilities, rehearsal band room, gym, sports hall, art studio, kitchen and social area. They also have access to staff and mentors to help support them in each area of the building or their hobbies. We provide a safe, welcoming space where young people can be themselves, build confidence and develop new skills. Through positive relationships with staff and peers, they are supported to grow, express themselves and feel a sense of belonging within their community. Our sessions are designed to be inclusive, engaging and led by the interests of young people, giving them a voice in shaping what happens at the centre. Alongside activities, we offer guidance, mentoring and opportunities that help young people make informed choices, build resilience and reach their full potential. At PowerStation Youth Centre, we’re more than just a place to go — we’re a community that supports, inspires and empowers young people to thrive.
