A summary
Our Stay & Play sessions provide a welcoming, inclusive space for children with SEND and their families to relax, explore, and have fun together. Eligible children are welcome to attend with one parent/carers and additional siblings, creating opportunities for the whole family to enjoy quality time in a supportive environment. Please ensure spaces are booked for every child and adult attending the session, where you more than one HAF eligible child please book them as HAF - the sibling is typically used for those who are younger than school age - we can accommodate a maximum of 30 people per session including Eligible Child, siblings & parents.
Upon arrival, families will be welcomed by our friendly and experienced team, who are on hand to help everyone settle in and feel comfortable throughout the session. Parents / Carers are required to stay throughout the session.
Children and families will have access to a wide range of fun games and activities designed to encourage creativity, confidence, movement, and connection through play. Activities may include arts and crafts, sensory and messy play, soft play equipment, parachute games, obstacle courses, table games, team activities, and much more. All activities are child-led, low demand, and carefully designed to meet a variety of needs and interests.
A calm regulation space will also be available for any child who may need time to relax and regulate emotions during the session.
Our Stay & Play sessions are designed by our experienced in-house team, who have many years of experience supporting children with SEND and creating positive, engaging experiences for families.
