A summary
Children ages 8- 12 can attend on their own. CHILDREN UNDER 8 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT. After-School and Holiday Play sessions for children including a hot healthy meal, usually vegan or vegetarian to cater for all dietary requirements. Activities may include: cooking, sports, arts and crafts, group games visits to local woodlands, cycling bike maintenance All sessions are co-designed with the children and young people making sessions fun! We are open: Term time: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:30-6pm. Holidays: Monday - Friday (excluding bank holidays), 11am - 3pm. Bikes and scooters are welcome! No E-bikes or E-scooters allowed on site. Children’s bike workshop with Life Cycle UK every Tuesday.

The Vench, a much-loved adventure playground and community centre in Lockleaze, Bristol. For over 50 years, we’ve been inspiring imaginative play in a supportive and fun environment to help Lockleaze children and young people live happy and healthy lives. We believe in the importance of providing our local young people and their families with a safe place to play, learn and create the change they want to see in the world. Working with our partners we offer a range of activities and experiences to build resilience and confidence in the young people, families and the wider community.
