Play in a Day Workshop

Lights, camera, action! Join our facilitator Hannah for an exciting day of drama, creativity and performance as we create a play from start to finish in just one day. Through fun theatre games, improvisation and teamwork, participants will develop characters, build scenes and work together to bring an original story to life. Along the way, they'll explore storytelling, build confidence, develop communication skills and let their imaginations run wild in a fun and supportive environment. Throughout the day, Hannah will guide the group through the creative process, encouraging everyone to share ideas and get involved. Whether your child enjoys being centre stage, loves making people laugh, or simply wants to try something new, there will be plenty of opportunities for everyone to shine. By the end of the workshop, participants will have created and rehearsed their very own play before performing it for family and friends (where applicable), celebrating everything they've achieved together in just one day. This workshop is perfect for young people of all experience levels, whether they're stepping onto the stage for the first time or already love performing. It's a fantastic opportunity to make new friends, work as part of a team and experience the magic of theatre from page to performance. This workshop is free for children who receive free school meals, and is part of Suffolk County Council's HAF programme.
