WELCOME TO TECHTONIC!
Unlock the power of coding and AI. This creative tech experience is a hands on coding experience designed for young people who are serious about coding.

You will code a mood-tracking journal with feelings analysis (essential SEMH for autistic young people). This will then be used to help other autistic young people, giving you a sense of community and involvement.

Suitable for

A Coding and AI lab for young people with ASD (and other young people with an interest in coding), but this is a specially crafted experience for young neurodiverse learners.

How to get here

By bus: the 12X and 18A stop in the business park at certain times of day (please check the timetables). The nearest stop to the office is Westwood Heath, Longwood Close. Other buses may stop on Westwood Way a short walk from the office.

By minibus: free transport available if required, please get in touch to arrange.

Aim 1

Build your confidence and learn how to speak up for yourself – so you can be heard, stand out, and take charge of your future. Everything we do is designed to support your mental and emotional wellbeing, and we use a chill, friendly approach to help you feel safe and understood. Plus, we sneak in some English and maths skills in fun, low-key ways to help you get ready for school in September – without it feeling like school.

Aim 2

Daily physical challenges – daily walks and “power pauses” including breathing exercises.

Aim 3

Skills for life – from coding to teamwork and creativity to leadership and communication.
