A summary
Pasta From Scratch – A Hands-On Children's Cookery Workshop Join us for a deliciously fun morning where children become little chefs and learn how to make pasta from scratch! From mixing and rolling to using pasta machines, everyone will get stuck in creating their very own handmade pasta. Once the pasta is ready, we’ll enjoy it with tasty Bolognese and vegetarian sauces, paired with our vibrant Raspberry Rainbow Salad. And what’s a feast without dessert? We’ll finish with delightful Eton Mess Strawberry Cheesecakes! After cooking and eating together, we’ll wind down with a choice of fun, calming activities. Children can: - Play games or listen to a story - Get creative with colouring - Relax with play dough if they need a quieter space This workshop is all about food, fun, and friendship, perfect for curious kids who love to cook (or eat!).

About your mentor
Growing Local CIC
GROW, COOK, EAT healthy & local Hereford food
Growing Local is a community interest company that encourages and educates communities to grow, cook and eat local food. In the summer of 2023 Growing Local took over a new 19-acre agricultural site, The Southside Farm, on the southern edge of Hereford to establish a veg box scheme, a children’s educational garden and heritage orchards. We work with schools and communities delivering educational programmes and events in sustainable food growing, nature, crafting, cooking and more.
