Join us at our new outdoor Bowls in partnership with White Rock Bowls Club, The Hastings VI Bowls Club and Freedom Leisure. The sessions are specially designed to introduce people to this fun, social, and accessible sport. The session will take place on green 1 and 2. Whether you’re completely new, curious to learn more, you’ll be made to feel right at home. Suitable for absolute beginners or those that have played before. It is a great opportunity to build confidence, meet new people, and enjoy a rewarding activity in a relaxed setting. • A friendly, no-pressure introduction to bowls • A chance to meet new people and be part of a community • All equipment provided. Feel free to bring a friend along, or come on your own. You’ll be greeted with a warm, friendly welcome from the moment you arrive. Who knows – you might just discover a new passion! Active Hastings
Physical activity sessions for everyone!
Active Hastings is an externally funded partnership project between Hastings Borough Council and East Sussex County Council Public Health. We have been working in partnership since 2006 to give local residents easy, fun ways to get their everyday dose of physical activity. It only takes 150 minutes of moderate intensity physical activity each week for adults and 60 minutes every day for children to benefit your health, both mental and physical. You can even break it down into 10 minute slots! All of our team are experienced sports coaches, fitness instructors and play workers, who are passionate about working with people of all ages in Hastings and St Leonards. We run free or low cost sessions throughout the year, as well as holiday activities as part of the Holiday Activity and Food programme.
