Example options we provide include hot food such as jacket potatoes with various fillings, pasta bakes, and grilled chicken breast with new potatoes and a selection of vegetables. Cold food items such as pasta salads and ham or tuna salads will be available alongside a daily salad bar consisting of coleslaw, potato salad, mixed leaf, cucumber and tomato, although we will encourage guests to have a hot meal where possible.
Meals are designed to be easily replicated at home. This way, when young people enjoy the healthy meals served at Calvert Devon, they can share this with their families at home and we encourage them to recreate the meals together, creating an opportunity to discuss healthy eating and food preparation together.
