A summary
Our Space, Our Summer is a free youth-led holiday programme packed with sports, creativity, food, and fun. Running Tuesday to Friday, 2pm–6pm, it offers multi-sports, arts and crafts, wellbeing sessions– all co-designed by local young people. Hot lunches and healthy snacks included daily. There will be lots of fun an engaging activities and external providers popping in and out with extra fun like dance, gymnastics and Gautby Reptiles will also be out once a week along with cooking school.

Rise Wirral CIC is a community interest company which has been designed to break down barriers in communities but uses sport as the catalyst. These barriers vary some of which we see day to day such as Anti-social behaviour, and cost of living crisis. Some barriers we don’t see but are just as important is social exclusion, which has become more evident since we were plunged into a global pandemic. And due to day to day stresses a massive barrier in all demographics in life, is our own mental health and we aim to use sport to overcome all these barriers, plus anywhere else we can help!

Gautby Road’s vision and passion is to make a difference in the lives of our local community. We aim to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare, for recreation and leisure time, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the residents of Birkenhead North. We want to improve health and wellbeing, develop skills and provide opportunities within the community whilst providing positive outcomes for people every day. From this, we aim to work with everyone, regardless of social, ethnic or faith background.
